Ogden's Fine Cut:

Linda Bedard attended the Kootenay School of Art, Nelson, BC (1967 – 1969), the Emily Carr School of Art in Vancouver, BC (1970 – 1972), and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria in 1974. Despite creating primarily film-based and digital photographic works (including black-and-white, stereoscopic 3-D, and hand-coloured photography), Bedard received no formal training in photographic arts. She has exhibited in artist-run-centres and galleries throughout Victoria BC, as well as in shown in Vancouver and Toronto. Bedard is the recipient of Canada Council for the Arts grants in 1979 and1980 (Photography division, short-term), and a Canada Council travel grant in 1979.
