Yuri Doric is an alumnus of the Camosun College Visual Arts Program (graduated 1990) who has worked in a variety of media including painting, collage, photography, and graphic design. Doric attended Emily Carr College of Art and Design (now Emily Carr University) from 1990 – 1991, leaving his studies to pursue painting full-time. He has participated in a variety of exhibitions in Victoria, BC ("Visible Evidence", 1992; "Sacred and Profane", 1993); and Port Angeles, WA ("Straight Art III: The Canadian Waters", 1993); as well as in Canberra, Australia ("cut.paste", 2009).
